Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our Montreal-area team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality web applications using Angular on the frontend and Java on the backend within an Agile framework.

You will translate business requirements into scalable technical components, mentor teammates, and contribute to design reviews while maintaining robust testing and CI/CD practices. Strong communication across teams nationwide is expected.

Qualifications

• 8 years of software development experience.

Senior Fullstack Developer

Mandate Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, test, and debug computer programs according to established plans and deadlines.
• Build and support web applications using Angular and Java in an Agile environment.
• Master the system's technical and business features to explain them to colleagues and interact with users.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications and software components.
• Design and model solutions for complex problems, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Review design and code quality as part of deliverables.
• Guide the project team to ensure quality code delivery within deadlines.
• Write unit and integration tests for required functions.
• Implement regression testing strategies to improve application stability.
• Support the development of major systems using new web and application technologies.
• Improve and develop functionalities to meet user needs by designing solutions, solving problems, estimating work, programming, testing, debugging, and documenting.
• Brainstorm technical solutions with team members and create prototypes as needed.
• Regularly interact with colleagues across the country.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Initiative and ability to work under pressure.
• Teamwork and attention to detail.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Typescript.
• Excellent coding skills in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of the Angular framework.
• Proficiency in GIT.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Openshift, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Agile/Scrum/Safe and DevOps mindset.
