Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a frontend-focused software engineer to design robust user interfaces with Angular or React, using TypeScript and AI-assisted tools. You will lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and ensure quality through end-to-end testing in a monorepo setting.

You will collaborate with UX designers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while expanding AI-driven features across products.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or related field.
2–6 years of web development experience.
Ability to lead complex projects and work independently.
Experience in agile teams and code reviews.
Proficient with Angular and TypeScript in production.
Familiar with AI code tools and LLMs.
Experience with CI/CD and Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with GCP/AWS.
Strong communication with UX designers.
Mentor junior engineers.

Design robust user interfaces with Angular or React using TypeScript
Actively use Claude Code and Codex to accelerate development cycles while maintaining code quality
Collaborate on integrating AI-based features into applications
Solve complex business problems through product innovation
Ensure application stability through end-to-end testing with Cypress and Playwright
Work in a GitLab monorepo environment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of pipelines

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or DEC in software engineering/computer science
2 to 6 years of web development experience

Advanced proficiency with Angular
Proficiency in TypeScript, npm, Docker, and Linux/WSL
Hands-on experience with Jest, Cypress, and Playwright for E2E testing
Use of AI tools for code
Interest in implementing LLMs
Experience with continuous integration and deployment
Effective communication with UX designers
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Kubernetes
Experience with GitLab pipelines
