Job summary

Vision Transportation is seeking a reliable, full-time Reach/Forklift Operator for our Belleville warehouse at 659 College Street East. This role runs Monday to Friday with rotating Sunday shifts, from 3:00pm to 11:30pm; Sundays 7:00am to 3:30pm. Salary starts at $20.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of loading experience, RF scanner use, and forklift skills to maximize cargo capacity. Join a dynamic team focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• We require 2+ years loading experience in transportation or warehouses.
• Experience maximizing trailer/container capacity.
• RF scanner experience required or preferred.
• Experience with counter-balance forklifts, reach trucks, clamp trucks and end riders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach and forklift to load/unload cubed freight.
• Maximize trailer and container capacity safely.
• Use RF scanner to track inventory and shipments.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse area and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

- 2+ years of previous loading experience, preferably in the transportation industry.

- Be proficient at maximizing the capacity of cubed freight trailers/containers.

- Experience using an RF scanner.

- Experience with operating a counter-balance forklift, reach trucks, clamp trucks and endriders preferred.
