Full-time Probationary Educational Assistant - 1.0 FTE

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, educational assistants, school administration, and the Inclusion Team to support the academic, social-emotional, behavioural, and personal care needs of students in Kindergarten to Grade 5 inclusive classrooms.Specific grade-level and student assignments will be determined based on the successful candidate's skills, experience, and the evolving needs of the school. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to working collaboratively to create an inclusive learning environment where every student is supported to learn, grow, and experience success.

Responsibilities may include providing one-to-one and small-group support, assisting with classroom routines, implementing learning and behaviour support plans under the direction of the classroom teacher, supporting students during instructional and non-instructional times, and encouraging student independence while promoting dignity, belonging, and well-being.
