Why this role is important?

SUMMARY:

To manage the operations of the Pharmacy while on duty, including providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, practicing to full scope in providing professional services, dispensing medication, and assisting in the maintenance of the dispensary.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pharmacy and Customer Service: Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy, practice within legal requirements, ensure privacy, provide counseling, practice to full scope, be identifiable, ensure prescription accuracy, communicate with healthcare professionals, and maintain records.
• Workflow and Inventory Management: Control access, review workflow queues, manage stock and expired inventory, oversee stock levels and medication orders, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Operations: Maintain a professional pharmacy environment, handle financial reports, respond to store communications, and file incident reports.
• Experience, Skills & Qualifications: Ability to make independent decisions, lead and coach colleagues, drive business growth, provide exceptional customer service, possess problem-solving skills, and follow health and safety procedures. Continued education is encouraged.
