Job summary

Securitas Canada Limited in Winnipeg is seeking a Full-Time Mobile Officer. You will observe and report on-site activities, conduct patrols, control access, and ensure safety of client property and personnel.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service, clear communication, and reliable shift performance; prior security experience and a valid provincial security guard license are required or preferred; driver’s license and basic computer skills helpful.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid provincial Security Guard License.
• 1+ year of security experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for safety of property, assets and personnel.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and enforces site regulations for personnel, visitors and premises.
• Controls access to the client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle, checks for hazards, security violations and unlocked entries.
• Provides excellent customer service while minimizing risk to client property and assets.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems and alarm/video monitoring software.
• Uses computer systems to monitor sites and complete trainings.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in emergencies or security investigations.

We are seeking Full‑Time Mobile Officer for the Winnipeg area.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property, assets, and personnel.
• Makes periodic patrols to check for irregularities and to inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process.
• Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons.
• Satisfies client needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client property and assets.
• Monitors intrusion detection systems using automated alarm and video monitoring software.
• Uses computer systems and software to monitor sites and complete basic trainings.
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.

Qualifications

• Must have valid provincial Security Guard License
• Must have valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
• 1 or more years of security experience (preferred)
• Working knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills
• Able to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
• Basic computer skills such as the ability to use Microsoft Office.
• Able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols

Schedule

Saturday & Sunday 2200-0600, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 2300-0700
