Job summary

Cypress Restaurant in Port Alberni, BC is hiring a full-time Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen team. Earn CA$19.00 to CA$24.00 per hour with day or evening shifts and company-paid health and dental benefits.

You will prepare and plate dishes, maintain a clean workstation, and support other kitchen stations to deliver memorable guest experiences. We value reliability, strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in making great food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality standards.
• Keep service running smoothly by preparing accurate, consistently presented dishes in a timely manner.
• Help bring daily menu items and specials to life.
• Support other kitchen stations with food preparation as needed.
• Plate dishes with care, ensuring each order looks appetizing and meets our standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
• Monitor ingredients and supplies and communicate restocking needs.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety procedures.
• Work closely with kitchen and service staff to create an excellent experience for every guest.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chef or Management team.
