Responsibilities

• Maintain parking facilities, surroundings, and exterior areas to a clean, safe, and welcoming standard.
• Sweep, collect litter, remove waste, and clean stairwells and parking areas.
• Inspect parking facilities for cleanliness and safety and report issues.
• Respond to guest inquiries in a courteous, professional manner.
• Operate and store cleaning equipment and supplies safely after use.
• Conduct property rounds and assist with other duties as assigned.

Your Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager

Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown is currently recruiting for a Full-Time General Maintenance Person/Parking Cleaner! In this role, you will:

• Ensure the parking facilities, surrounding grounds, and exterior areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and welcoming condition that exceeds guest expectations.
• Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, litter collection, waste removal, and cleaning of stairwells, walkways, and parking areas.
• Conduct regular inspections of parking facilities and identify, report, and assist in addressing cleanliness, safety, and minor maintenance issues.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools safely, ensuring all equipment and supplies are stored properly after use.
• Make regular rounds of the property to maintain cleanliness standards, respond to emergency situations as directed, and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring To The Table

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Technical experience in a recognized trade with a general understanding of building maintenance and operation. Previous experience in a fast‑paced hotel environment would be considered an asset.
• Must be available to work five days per week, with six-hour shifts.
• Flexibility in working any shift as required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and professionally with other departments, guests, and vendors.
• Ability to handle difficult situations and individuals diplomatically while maintaining professionalism.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting high‑performance standards.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
