The successful candidate will champion Cree language and culture, collaborate with staff and the community, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs. Prior rural/Indigenous teaching is preferred.
Northland School Division is seeking a Jr. High Teacher at Paddle Prairie School. The kindergarten to grade 12 school is located in the Paddle Prairie Métis Settlement, one of only eight legislated Métis land bases with Métis governments established in Northern Alberta, Canada, and protected by legislation. The settlement is 70 kilometers south of High Level, Alberta and 1 hour and 14 minutes north of Manning, Alberta.
