Job summary

Mako Diving and Marine Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial Dive Supervisor to lead dive teams and coordinate complex underwater operations in Canada.

The role covers planning dives, managing equipment and personnel, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across projects. Responsibilities include supervising underwater construction, welding, rigging, and collaborating with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• DCBC qualified with field experience
• Experience supervising commercial diving operations
• CSA standards and Canadian regulations compliance

Responsibilities

• Supervise commercial dive crews and daily dive operations
• Plan and coordinate dives, equipment, personnel, and work scopes
• Oversee underwater construction, inspection, repair and maintenance
• Supervise welding, cutting, rigging, concrete, and construction work
• Ensure dives are conducted safely and in accordance with CSA standards and Canadian regulations
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients
• Complete dive logs, reports, and required project documentation
• Support ROV, salvage, recovery, and specialized diving operations as required

• Supervise commercial dive crews and daily dive operations


• Plan and coordinate dives, equipment, personnel, and work scopes


• Oversee underwater construction, inspection, repair and maintenance


• Supervise welding, cutting, rigging, concrete, and construction work


• Ensure dives are conducted safely and in accordance with CSA standards and Canadian regulations


• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and clients


• Complete dive logs, reports, and required project documentation
