Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Vaughan, ON is seeking a Full Time Gun Vault Specialist to maintain accurate firearms inventory, process transfers, and ensure compliance with federal laws. The role requires careful handling of firearms, attention to documentation, and secure access control in the Gun Vault.

You will ship or transfer firearms per requests, conduct monthly audits, train store staff, and communicate with customers about transfers while upholding safety and policy standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control procedures preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with firearms preferred.
• Stay abreast of federal firearms laws and regulations.
• Basic computer knowledge and math skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete firearms inventory and processing of acquisitions and dispositions.
• Control access to the Gun Vault and ensure transfer approvals are obtained.
• Ship and transfer firearms as requested and verify receiving paperwork.
• Conduct monthly firearms audits and train store staff as needed.
• Communicate with customers regarding transfers and corrections to compliance documents.

Full Time Gun Vault Specialist### Full Time Gun Vault SpecialistApply: Vaughan, ON: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: November 28, 2026 (22 days left to apply): R272065**Summary:** Responsible for maintaining a complete, thorough and accurate firearms inventory for the retail location to include the acquisition and disposition of firearms within federal legal requirements.**Responsibilities:*** Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.* Organizes and maintains firearms in all locations within the retail store to include Gun Counter, Fine Gun Room, Gunsmith department and all firearm storage areas.* Ensures all Firearm Sales documents are completed thoroughly and accurately.* Controls access in and out of the Gun Vault.* Ensures all Federal Firearms Transfer Approvals are received prior to a firearm being released to a customer.* Ships and/or transfers firearms as requested.* Receives and secures incoming firearms and/or black powder using A&D log books and electronic A&D system.
