Bass Pro Shops in Calgary is seeking a Gun Counter Outfitter to safely handle firearms and provide legendary customer service. You will greet customers, assess needs, and guide buying decisions with product recommendations aligned to hunting and outdoor activities.

The role requires knowledge of firearms models, safe handling, and compliance with provincial and federal regulations. A part-time schedule and discounts on outdoor merchandise are included.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• A Restricted and Non-Restricted Possession and Acquisition License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions through needs assessment and product recommendations.
• Knowledge of firearms makes/models and scopes; promote Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s programs.
• Maintain visual standards and store presentation, including signage, restocking, and remerchandising.
• Respond to customer issues with sound judgment and problem solving within the scope of the job.
• Demonstrate passion for the outdoors and stay informed on trends and technologies related to outdoor activities.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
