Job summary

Sparkles & Shine in Kamloops, BC is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our team. The role involves sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, bed making, stocking linen and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms.

We offer permanent full-time employment, 35–40 hours per week, with a negotiable hourly wage of $17.00 to $18.75 and immediate start for the right candidate. Fluency in English and basic high school education are required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English required.
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
• Training will be provided to selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture.
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
• Stock the linen closet.
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
• Pick up debris and empty trash cans.
• Clean windows, walls, and ceilings.
