Job summary

Alberta Advantage Immigration Program RRS in High Level, Alberta is seeking bakery workers to prepare and bake donuts, muffins and other bakery products according to recipes and production requirements. You will frost, decorate and finish baked goods, operate bakery equipment, and ensure quality and freshness while following daily production schedules and documenting records.

High school completion is required; prior baking experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or Canadian equivalent.
• Previous baking or food-production experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake donuts, muffins and other bakery products according to established recipes and production requirements.
• Prepare icings, frostings and toppings.
• Frost, finish and decorate baked goods.
• Operate bakery equipment and machinery.
• Ensure baked products meet established quality and freshness standards.
• Follow daily bakery production schedules
• Complete and maintain daily bakery production records, including production times, temperatures, quantities and product waste.
• Monitor bakery inventory and supplies and identify items that need to be ordered.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and follow food-safety procedures.
