What youll do:

Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance in supporting the overall business objectives of the department. As a hands-on leader, the Assistant Manager will work alongside with team members to deliver exceptional service and value to our customers. Additional responsibilities include:

• Support achievement of established sale targets and margins.
• Order and price fuel and confectionary merchandise.
• Support local community initiatives and fundraising activities.
• Provide assistance with marketing and promotional efforts.
• Support a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
• Provide products, assistance, and service to customers.
• Provide assistance with staff and customer complaints.
• Provide assistance with scheduling, recruitment, and training of new team members.
• OHS Supervision and Safety course required.
• Complete safety training as required.
