Job summary

Prairie Co-operative in Melville, Saskatchewan is hiring a Part Time Gas Bar Clerk to join our team.

You will deliver friendly service at the pump and counter, maintain stock, operate the POS, and keep the store clean. This role requires flexibility across days, evenings and weekends.

We value dependable, interpersonal individuals with a valid Class 5 license and willingness to complete PME and SIRS training.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Dependable and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willing to take PME and SIRS training as required.
• Able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain safe, efficient operation per policies.
• Maintain shelf and display stock to meet standards.
• Deliver high level customer and pump service in a high-traffic area.
• Process sales and customer orders using the POS system.
• Perform interior and exterior housekeeping duties.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
• Maintain shelf and display stock and organize all goods intended for sale to meet established standards.
• Provide a high level of customer and pump service in a high traffic area.
• Process customer orders and purchases using the point-of-sale terminal to meet established productivity and service standard
• Perform interior and exterior housekeeping duties
• Any other duties as assigned
