Job summary

Prairie Co-operative is hiring a Gas Bar Supervisor on a permanent full-time basis in Melville, SK. You will lead daily gas bar and car wash operations, mentor staff, manage inventory, and implement marketing programs while upholding safety standards.

You are expected to provide excellent service, maintain equipment, and live the Prairie Co-op brand, with shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or gas bar operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to train and supervise staff effectively.
• Capable of managing inventory and pricing.
• Commitment to safety, policies, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe, efficient operation.
• Mentor, supervise, and train Gas Bar staff including onboarding and development.
• Assist daily operations: fuel pricing, inventory, and marketing programs.
• Oversee safety, environmental, and loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain equipment standards and uphold Prairie Co-op brand.

What you'll do:

• Responsible to provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
• Assist with the mentorship, supervision, and training of new and existing Gas Bar staff, including goal setting, performance management, onboarding, training, and development
• Assist in the management of daily operations for gas bar and car wash locations including, fuel pricing, inventory management, and implementing marketing programs
• Assist in oversight of the completion and follow through of all safety, environmental, and loss prevention procedures and ensure standards are achieved.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment standards.
• Responsible for living the Prairie Co-op brand by striving to achieve our vision and mission.
• Performing Clerk and Pump Attendant duties as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
