Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is seeking an Administrative Assistant for an in-office, full-time role in North Bay, ON. You will perform a variety of administrative duties to support managerial and professional staff and ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

The position offers in-office work with opportunities for professional growth and participation in programs and benefits described in the company’s approach to employee well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Complete filing as required.
  • Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Assist field staff with mobile devices
  • Greet visitors, field staff, etc., and assist as required
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings
  • Complete monthly JHSC inspections
  • Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
  • May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
  • May organize conferences.
