ParaMed Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide in-office support in North Bay, ON. You will perform filing, correspondence handling, scheduling, and general office coordination to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform filing and document handling as required.
  • Open and distribute mail and coordinate information flow internally.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Answer calls and electronic inquiries and relay messages.
  • Set up and maintain filing systems (manual and computerized).
  • Assist field staff with mobile devices as needed.
  • Greet visitors and assist as required.
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings.
  • Complete monthly JHSC inspections.
  • Arrange travel and reservations.
  • May compile data for research activities and organize conferences.

Job duties
  • Complete filing as required
  • Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Assist field staff with mobile devices
  • Greet visitors, field staff, etc., and assist as required
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings
  • Complete monthly JHSC inspections
  • Arrange travel schedules and make reservations
  • May compile data, statistics and other information to support research activities
  • May organize conferences
