Qualifications

Job description

Are you motivated to help discover solutions to problems in the ski world? Does collaborating with a team of experienced, young, and dynamic developers inspire you to excel? The accesso Paradox team is looking for an experienced full-stack developer to work on its SaaS solution, MountainOS, which allows ski resorts to manage their entire operations, from ticket sales to ski school management to equipment rental. The accesso Paradox all-in-one solution was specifically designed by skiers for ski resorts and enables our clients to provide an enhanced customer experience and centralized, accessible data so they can focus on what matters most : the skier!

Location : Quebec, Canada. This role can be performed in a hybrid version of in-office (Quebec City) and remote.

Reports to : Director of Development

What you’ll be working on :

  • Understand and determine the business rules and logic specific to each ski resort and ensure that the technological solutions developed meet and are constantly aligned with our customer needs.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of the business logic as well as the data structure in order to enable performance optimization and the possibility of future improvements.
  • Provide innovative solutions that will facilitate and improve the interface and user experience in order to increase the value of the product, including by collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Ensure that the technological solutions developed respond and are constantly aligned with the real business needs of clients.
  • Take ownership of the full lifecycle of services, including deployment and operation in production.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings, sprint reviews and sprint retros.
  • Implement and follow Java (Spring Boot) and Typescript ES6 (Angular) development standards.
  • Implementation of strategies such as automated and unit testing to increase product quality.

What you bring to the role :

  • At least six (6) years in a similar position;
  • Experience with technologies such as :

Languages : Java, Spring Boot, Typescript, HTML5

  • Framework : Angular, Material, Django
  • Data : MongoDB, BigQuery
  • Experience in continuous AGILE development.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
