Job summary

Recruiting In Motion - Eastern Ontario is seeking (Intermediate/Senior) JavaScript Full Stack Developers to build and evolve customer-facing products and internal services in a hybrid Ottawa setting.

The role covers front-end with React and back-end with Node.js/.NET, using AWS and modern cloud tooling, in a collaborative, quality-focused team. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $130,000 CAD depending on experience, with a hybrid work model and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of professional software development experience with modern stacks (Node.js, React).
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency including ES6+ features.
• Hands-on experience building Node.js services and RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience with AWS or a comparable cloud platform.
• Familiarity with microservices, event-driven patterns, or distributed systems.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile teams and sprint-based delivery.
• Solid Git and collaborative workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical initiatives across software development and operations teams.
• Build and improve reusable UI components with React.
• Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Node.js and .NET where applicable.
• Write clean, modular code following established standards and best practices.
• Explore AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, quality, and speed.
• Support active system maintenance, bug fixing, and incident resolution.
