Position Title: JavaScript Full Stack Developers Salary & Benefits: $80,000-$130,000 (depending on experience) Position Status: Current Vacancy Location: Downtown, Ottawa Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) Our client is seeking (Intermediate/Senior) JavaScript Full Stack Developers to help build and evolve customer-facing products and internal services that power their domain and hosting platform.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Operations
- Contribute to technical initiatives across software development and operations teams.
- Build and improve reusable UI components using modern front-end technologies like React.
- Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Node.js and .NET where applicable.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code by following established standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Explore and apply AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
- Participate in active system support, bug fixing, and incident resolution as needed.
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions with product and engineering teammates.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary partners including Engineers, Product Owners, Marketing, and Customer Service.
- Participate in knowledge sharing through peer reviews, pairing, and documentation.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and bring forward ideas to improve the product and workflow.
Testing & Deployment
- Contribute to feature design, implementation, and iteration using agile practices.
- Support testing and deployment activities by writing automated tests.
- Follow release processes and help ensure quality and stability in production.

Qualifications
- 3-8 years of professional software development experience working with modern application stacks including Node.js and React.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency, including modern ES6+ features and common patterns.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Node.js services and designing/consuming RESTful APIs.
- Practical experience working in AWS or a comparable cloud platform.
- Exposure to cloud architecture concepts such as microservices, event-driven patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams and contributing effectively to sprint-based delivery.
- Solid experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and contributing to automated testing and release processes.
What will make you stand out
- Container experience with Docker (ECS/EKS is a plus).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools like CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with legacy systems like .NET Framework and/or Java.
- Ability to contribute to modernization efforts including refactoring and incremental migration.
