Job summary

SRA Group in Toronto is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Backend heavy) to work on Java/J2EE backend systems and React frontend features. The role is located in Toronto with a 3-day-a-week hybrid work arrangement.

You will contribute to REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and scalable architectures, while collaborating across product and engineering teams. Strong agile and DevOps practices are essential for delivering robust software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and dependency injection frameworks.
• Proficiency in React.js, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, and CMS platforms (WordPress).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, microservices architecture and service integration.
• Solid understanding of database design and management (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Experience in workflow/design and scaling engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
