Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Full Stack Developer RD-020 based in Canada. You will design, develop, and deploy features for a modern SaaS platform focused on stakeholder management and ESG initiatives.

You will work across the full SDLC, collaborating with an international team, and improving engineering practices, tooling, and CI/CD. Exposure to AI-powered development tools is included.

Qualifications

• Education in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Node.js and React.
• Strong understanding of modern software practices and Git.
• Experience in Agile environments and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Professional fluency in English and French, written and spoken.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Developer RD-020 based in Canada.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the continuous evolution of a modern SaaS platform supporting stakeholder relationship management and ESG initiatives.

You will design, develop, and deploy features that directly address real client and business needs.

The role offers exposure across the full software development lifecycle, from technical decisions and architecture to testing and deployment.

You will work within a multidisciplinary and international team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions are encouraged.

The position combines hands‑on development with opportunities to improve engineering practices, tooling, and CI/CD processes.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy new product features, enhancements, and technical improvements.
• Contribute to technical decisions and the ongoing evolution of the application architecture.
• Build solutions that meet high standards for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to understand requirements, identify challenges, and implement effective technical solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, prioritization, and other Agile development activities.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain development quality and consistency.
• Share technical knowledge and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture.
• Help continuously improve development practices, tools, workflows, and the CI/CD environment.
• Use AI-powered development tools responsibly to increase productivity, improve code quality, and support innovation.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, software engineering practices, and industry trends relevant to the product.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform and development processes through proactive ideas and technical recommendations.

Requirements

• Education in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on proficiency with Node.js and React.
• Solid understanding of modern software development practices and version control using Git.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, Docker, AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, GitLab, Mocha, Puppeteer, Jest, ESLint, or Cursor is an asset.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn new technologies and approaches.
• Ability to work autonomously while remaining collaborative and engaged in technical discussions.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
• Interest in continuously improving software products, engineering processes, and development practices.
