Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining production full-stack web applications.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience developing modern frontend applications using React.
• Hands-on Java programming experience and experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience using relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of AWS technologies such as Lambda, ECS, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, and related cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality full-stack applications and services
• Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web interfaces using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Develop scalable and secure backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies
• Collaborate with product managers, product owners, designers, architects, and engineers to refine requirements and deliver customer-focused solutions
• Develop reusable frontend components and maintainable backend services that can be extended by other teams
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations between frontend applications, backend services, databases, and third-party systems

Salary Transparency

Salary is one part of the company’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
