Selected Candidate must be willing to go to the closest Capgemini/Client office location as indicated by the project team to meet and greet with a Capgemini team member prior to starting their assignment. If the candidate is not local, Capgemini will pay the expenses.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Work closely with Squad Lead/architect, Product Owner, BA and other business stakeholders during EST hours.
2. Lead design and development. Assign tasks to the team members located in India and Montreal & track and review the progress of these tasks.
3. Review and approve code changes.
4. Manage builds and deployments in lower environments.
5. Support production releases and post release testing.
6. Support applications in production and work with RPE team to resolve production issues.
7. Coordinate with adjacent teams and support teams locally globally.

Skills Required

1. Strong hands-on skills with Java and frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.
2. Experience designing and building RESTful service applications, Microservices and clients.
3. Experience with Cloud-Native technologies, any Cloud platform, Docker, Kubernetes.
4. Experience with NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB, messaging platforms such as Kafka.
5. Understanding of data structures, caching, design patterns, multi-threaded and high-performance architecture.
6. Experience with UI technologies such as React, Angular.
7. Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices.
8. Experience of iterative / agile development practices.
9. Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with and support colleagues, adapt to and work effectively with clients and co-workers with different work styles and levels of technical knowledge.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
11. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
12. Experience working on Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
13. Experience in Finance industry.
