Job description

Location: 100% Remote – Must be located in a compatible time zone
Contract Duration: 12 months – 35 hours per week

We are seeking an Intermediate SAP Basis Analyst to support the monitoring, maintenance, and operational stability of our client’s SAP environments. This role is ideally suited for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of SAP architecture and landscape management.

You’ll primarily work in non-production environments (80%), focusing on performance monitoring, system integrity, and improvement recommendations, while also supporting production systems (20%) with compliance reporting (e.g., SOX). Candidates can work 100% remotely, or if local, may attend the office 5 days every 2 weeks (office location is flexible).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily monitoring and maintenance of SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments

• Manage system performance, stability, and tuning across multiple SAP landscapes

• Provide recommendations to improve system performance and integrity

• Oversee and troubleshoot transport management in SAP ECC

• Support system refreshes, updates, and upgrades

• Manage and participate in SOX and security audit activities

• Conduct debugging and impact analysis across SAP system components and integrations

• Maintain proper functioning of development, test, and production environments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support interfaces with GTS, SCM, and other systems

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Basis Analyst

• Strong understanding of SAP system architecture, components, and landscape relationships

• Hands-on experience with:

  • SAP Basis operations

  • SAP Transport Management

  • Solution Manager administration

  • SAP Cloud ALM

• Experience working with:

  • SAP ECC and S/4HANA

  • GTS, SCM, and external interfaces

• Familiarity with SOX compliance and security reporting requirements

Desirable (Assets)

• Experience with SAP cloud solutions: LBN, IBP, IAS, CI-DS, BTP, ALM

• Familiarity with SAP ABAP and Java stacks

• Functional/technical experience with SAP Solution Manager (CHARM, CSOL, DVM, Workcenters)

• Exposure to SOX compliance and audit reporting

• Certifications (strongly valued but not mandatory):

  • SAP Fiori System Administration (e.g., C_FIOAD_2021)

  • SAP HANA 2.0 SPS06 (e.g., C_HANATEC_18)

  • SAP S/4HANA System Administration (e.g., C_TADM_23)

  • SAP Enterprise Architect (e.g., P_SAPEA_2023)
