Job description

Arobas Personnel is currently seeking an Intermediate SAP Basis Analyst for a contract opportunity with one of our clients located in Montreal.

*100% Remote *

What you'll be doing

You’ll play a key role in ensuring SAP systems run smoothly and securely by:

• Monitoring system performance and tuning configurations for optimal stability
• Recommending adjustments for SAP HANA database sizing and performance
• Managing change flow across SAP environments (development, testing, production)
• Planning, testing, and supporting SAP software updates and upgrades
• Coordinating the deployment of SAP security patches and hotfixes
• Planning updates for periodic kernel, HANA, and other SAP components
• Overseeing the SAP printing subsystem across all instances
• Configuring and fine-tuning monitoring tools for proactive issue detection

What we’re looking for

• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP application support
• Solid expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • SAP Basis operations
  • SAP Transport Management
  • SAP Solution Manager administration
  • SAP Cloud ALM
  • And other related domains
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, components, and configuration
• Experience working with complex SAP landscapes
• Familiarity with system updates, refreshes, and upgrades
• Proficiency with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, GTS, SCM, and interface integrations

Nice-to-haves (Assets)

• Experience with SAP Cloud applications: LBN, IBP, IAS, CI-DS, BTP, ALM
• Knowledge of ABAP and JAVA stacks
• Practical experience with SAP Solution Manager (e.g., CHARM, CSOL, DVM, and workcenters)
• Familiarity with SOX & security compliance reporting
• Certifications (a strong plus):
  • SAP Fiori System Administration (e.g., C_FIOAD_2021)
  • SAP HANA 2.0 SPS06 (e.g., C_HANATEC_18)
  • SAP S/4HANA System Administration (e.g., C_TADM_23)
  • SAP Enterprise Architect (e.g., P_SAPEA_2023)
