Job summary

CIBC is building a modern banking platform in Toronto and seeks a Full Stack Developer within Enterprise Technology. You will join the Global Screening Solutions team, developing, testing and supporting cross-platform systems for anti-money-laundering solutions.

You’ll work in a hybrid environment with a mix of on-site and remote work, collaborating with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and data-driven applications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, developing and implementing multi-platform systems.
• Proficient in Databricks, Oracle PL/SQL and query tuning.
• Unix/Linux scripting and knowledge of SQL, Java, and job schedulers.
• Familiar with SDLC methods (Waterfall, Hybrid, Agile) and big data tech.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cross-functional application systems within AML.
• Lead design, development, testing and integration activities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage design documentation.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews and ensure quality.
