Job summary

CIBC in Toronto is seeking a Data Application Developer to design, code and test end-to-end applications across multiple platforms. You will translate business requirements into programming instructions and work with the enterprise technology team to implement database solutions.

You’ll collaborate with business partners and technology teams, providing technical guidance, performing impact analysis, and ensuring regulatory and security standards. Some on-site with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years as a Data Application Developer with Oracle and SQL coding experience.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience in application production support and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage relationships with technology and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Design, code and test end-to-end stack of applications based on business requirements.
• Transform business requirements into programming instructions and solutions.
• Develop database management solutions and support backup plans.
• Provide technical guidance and address production issues, including pager duties.
