Job summary

Inter Pipeline in Calgary is seeking a driven Recruiter for a 6-month term to manage the full recruitment lifecycle across technical, operations, engineering and skilled trades roles.

You will partner with hiring managers, source candidates via job boards, social networks and referrals, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive industrial setting. Travel to Fort Saskatchewan may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, mining, or heavy industry preferred.
• Proven sourcing and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, career fairs, and industry events.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate candidate assessments.
• Facilitate and participate in behavioral and competency-based interviews.
• Conduct reference checks and pre-employment screening; ensure compliance with policies.
• Prepare and extend employment offers in accordance with compensation guidelines.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and track recruitment metrics.
