Job summary

The Adecco Group Canada is seeking a Search Consultant to own end-to-end direct hire recruitment for professionals in a designated area. You will build client accounts, generate new business, and lead the candidate lifecycle with a focus on exceptional client and candidate experiences.

You will collaborate with partners across Canada, develop recruiting strategies, and drive onboarding while leveraging Adecco’s global resources and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of successful sales experience, preferably recruiting top-tier candidates in specialized verticals.
• Working knowledge of labour and employment laws, current sourcing trends, and recruiting best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM/ATS experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Bilingual French/English is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through leads, referrals and marketing; negotiate fee agreements.
• Establish and maintain a network of industry professionals across Canada.
• Stay informed on industry trends and recruiting best practices; build subject matter expertise.
• Partner with clients to understand goals and evaluate hiring needs for best recruiting methods.
• Create and deploy client and role-specific strategic recruiting strategies; manage onboarding.
• Post and screen job postings; conduct behavioural and competency interviews to assess fit.
• Guide clients and candidates through interviewing and negotiation toward successful closures.
• Maintain accurate client and candidate documentation and ensure compliance with processes.
