Job summary

Farmers Business Network, Inc. is expanding its logistics capabilities and seeking a hands-on operations professional to drive inbound/outbound planning, daily warehouse coordination, and continuous improvement across our networks.

You will analyze data, optimize processes, and partner with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and workflows. The role requires 4+ years in operations/tech-enabled roles, strong SQL/Excel/Tableau skills, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 4+ years in a similar warehouse/ops roles.
• Minimum 4 years in project management or tech-driven operations roles.
• Strong data analysis and coding skills: SQL/Redshift/Python orExcel/Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Data Studios.
• Experience with WMS/TMS/ERP systems is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel 5–10% incl. potential international travel.

Responsibilities

• Bridge visibility gaps in inbound/outbound flows using analytics and tools.
• Plan and confirm inbound/outbound appointments with dock scheduling.
• Document discrepancies with carriers to improve on-time metrics.
• Support day-of plans, escalations, and project tracking at regional levels.
• Create WMS functionality for ICTO/TOs to position product across network.
• Lead business process documentation and future-state designs.
• Coordinate operational improvements across geographies balancing speed and sophistication.
• Develop KPI reporting and identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with deployment, warehousing, customer experience, and transport teams.
