Greenstone Gold Mines LP seeks a Fuel & Lube Technician to join the maintenance team in Geraldton, Ontario. You will operate an articulated fuel & lube truck and perform routine maintenance while following safety policies.

Applicants should have 2+ years of mine-site experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently or as part of a crew in a fast-paced environment. The role supports a large open-pit gold mine operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a fuel and lube technician at a mine site.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate regulatoryly.
• Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions safely and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate the articulated fuel & lube truck safely and efficiently.
• Perform field level risk assessments.
• Clean and lubricate the motor grader; refill fluids.
• Complete logbooks and daily safety/production reports.
• Use two-way radio signals to communicate and ensure safety.
• Maintain winter roads and manage water as required.
• Monitor gauges and report discrepancies to ensure equipment runs correctly.

The Greenstone Mine commenced production in May 2024 and will be one of Canada's largest open-pit gold mines, with annual production expected to average nearly 400,000 ounces of gold per year for an initial 14-year mine life with additional potential from a large underground deposit. Greenstone Gold Mines LP is owned by Equinox Gold Corp, a Vancouver-based mining company with four operating mines in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Nicaragua.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Fuel & Lube Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Mine MaintenanceSupervisor, the Fuel & Lube Technician is responsible for safely and productively operating an articulatedfuel & lube truck.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the articulated fuel & lube truck in a safe and efficient way in accordance with all relevantlegislation, company policies and procedures.
• Perform field level risk assessments.
• Clean and lubricate the motor grader; refill fluids.
• Complete logbooks and daily reports on safety issues and production.
• Use two-way-radio and horn signals to communicate with other operators and ensure safety.
• Use an articulated fuel & lube truck according to operating practices, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain winter roads.
• Manage water.
• Monitor gauges, and other indicators toensure the motor grader is working properly;reportdiscrepancies.

Required Experience and Skill Set

• 2+ years of experience as a fuel and lube technician at a mine site.

Job Conditions

• Experience in operating an articulated offroad truck is an asset.
• Able to read, understand, and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is from $97,447.00 to $103,682.00.
