The Fanshawe Student Union (FSU) is seeking a part-time Work Study for the Digital Media – On Screen Personality role. You will produce engaging video news and promotional content for FSU digital platforms, including on-air reporting, scriptwriting, and collaboration with videographers to tell compelling campus stories.

Open to full-time Fanshawe College students approved for the Work Study program, this temporary position runs September 2026 to April 2027, up to 20 hours per week, offering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or better; some college preferred.
• Outgoing, task-oriented, self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with video editing, camera work, and speaking on camera.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.

Overview

The FSU Digital Media – On Screen Personality (Work Study) position produces engaging video news and promotional content for FSU digital platforms. This includes on‑camera reporting, scriptwriting, and collaborating with videographers to create compelling stories that inform and connect with the student community. The role is a part-time Work Study position open to full-time Fanshawe College students approved for the Work Study program.

Contract - Temporary Part-Time (September 2026 - April 2027) • Up to 20 hours of work per week

Requirements

• Must be a full-time Fanshawe College student approved for the Work Study program.

Eligible Students: Domestic Fanshawe College students must be full-time and meet financial needs assessment criteria. Successful candidates may be asked to apply to the Work Study Employment Program. The Work Study Employment Program supports Fanshawe Student Union by employing students over the summer, fall, and winter terms.
