Medavie Health Services West in Alberta is seeking a Paramedic for a temporary position to deliver emergency patient care and transportation. The role requires maintaining clinical knowledge and adhering to health standards while collaborating with EMS teams.

You will respond to calls, operate EMS vehicles, document care, and uphold patient confidentiality. A strong professional demeanor and teamwork are essential for success in this critical service.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Alberta Operator's License class 1, 2 or 4.
• Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
• Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (Lloydminster)
• Completion of Alberta Health Services MCP's
• Certified in and maintains CPR certification
• Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (Lloydminster only)

Mansioni

• Maintain personal knowledge and skills in accordance with AOCP.
• Safely operate vehicles per guidelines and regulations.
• Stock and maintain vehicles for readiness.
• Work in hazardous environments to ensure patient safety and stabilization.
• Collaborate with outside agencies for patient care.
• Document patient care and assessments promptly and legibly.
• Be punctual and professional; follow chain of command.
• Create and maintain patient care reports and maintain confidentiality.
• Develop continuing education requirements and maintain QA programs.

Formazione

High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Alberta Operator's License class 1, 2 or 4

Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics

Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (Lloydminster positions)
