Medavie Health Services West seeks a dedicated Paramedic/ACP to join our EMS team in Alberta. You will deliver high-quality pre-hospital care and operate ambulances safely while collaborating with PCPs, EMRs, and regional partners to stabilize patients.

Applicants must hold Alberta College of Paramedics registration, CPR certification, and a valid Alberta driver’s license. This permanent role features competitive hourly wages and a strong focus on patient safety and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Alberta Operators License class 1, 2 or 4.
• Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Current registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics (Lloydminster positions).
• Completion of Alberta Health Services MCP’s.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver optimum patient care in accordance with AOCP guidelines.
• Safely operate ambulances per health and safety manuals and regulations.
• Stock and maintain vehicles in readiness.
• Document patient care in ePCR in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with outside agencies to assist patients.
• Communicate incidents and reports to leadership and records.
