Medavie Health Services West in Central Alberta is seeking a Paramedic (PCP) to provide emergent and pre-hospital care. You will operate EMS vehicles, document patient care, and coordinate with outside agencies to support patient outcomes.

The position requires Alberta College of Paramedics registration, MCP completion, CPR certification, and a valid Alberta Operator’s license (Class 1/2/4). Hourly pay ranges between CAD 30.74 and CAD 38.79 under the Central Alberta Collective Agreement.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Alberta Operators License class 1, 2 or 4.
• Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics
• Completion of Alberta Health Services MCP’s
• Certified in and maintains CPR certification
• FARE Certificate required

Responsabilidades

• Emergency and Response: Maintain knowledge to AOCP and deliver optimum patient care.
• Operate MHS West vehicles safely and in accordance with guidelines.
• Stock and maintain vehicles; ensure readiness.
• Document patient care and assessments (ePCR) timely and legibly.
• Follow chain of command and communicate effectively with teams.
• Refer media requests to the General Manager and report incidents in writing.
