Job summary

Affirm is seeking a software engineer for our remote-first team serving the Canada region. In this role you will contribute to front-end and API design, shipping web apps with React or Vue and mobile apps with React Native, and collaborating across product, design, and analytics.

You’ll break down tasks, write clean, tested code, participate in code reviews, and own parts of the development lifecycle from ideation to deployment. This position offers strong compensation and full benefits.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of software engineer experience.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to own solutions across multiple components and write clear, well-tested code.
• Comfort with large codebases and participating in code reviews.
• Strong communication skills for global collaboration.
• Equivalent practical experience or a related Bachelor's degree.
