Job summary

The Wickaninnish Inn is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to lead a high-end guest service team on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. You will work to consistently meet Relais & Châteaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes standards while supporting the Front Office Manager.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of supervisory experience in a luxury front desk setting, excellent communication, and a commitment to hospitality excellence in a dynamic coastal environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Minimum 2 years of management or supervisory experience in Front Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting Relais & Châteaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
• Support Front Office Manager and assist as a hands-on supervisor.
• Be the contact person for guests or team members requiring immediate assistance.
• Participate in HR functions within Front Office Department.
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere for learning & development for Front Office Team Members.
• Assist in creating and improving systems to organize flow of guests, team members & supplies.
• Participate in creating and achieving the annual budget for Front Office.
• Ensure cleanliness and physical condition of Front Office areas.
• Handle assigned administrative responsibilities for Front Office operations.
