Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Banff National Park is seeking an Assistant Front Office Manager to lead a dynamic team and deliver world-class hospitality. You will oversee front desk operations, coach staff, and ensure an exceptional guest journey in a luxury resort environment.

The role requires supervisory experience, Opera and MS Office proficiency, and flexibility for holidays, weekends, overnights. On-site staff housing and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in front office operations.
• Hotel Operations diploma or degree from a recognized institute an asset
• Operational knowledge and use of Opera and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily front office operations, ensuring seamless check-ins, smooth departures, and an exceptional guest journey.
• Hiring, coaching, developing, and performance managing the Front Desk team
• Resolve guest concerns with care, professionalism, and prompt action, ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression.
• Improve service delivery by streamlining procedures and removing obstacles that hinder service
• Develop visionary proposals aimed at improving service climate, colleague morale, and shareholder return
• Manage staff schedules and handle payroll processing.
• Practicing room yield management to maximize profitability of overall operations
• Oversee inventory management, including room types and categories
