Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Associate, Correspondent Banking in Toronto to help grow its global Correspondent Banking franchise. You will identify prospects, support onboarding, and work with senior teams across North America, EMEA, and APAC to deliver payment, liquidity, and trade finance solutions.

You will collaborate across Global Transaction Banking, Capital Markets, and Risk teams, contributing to client acquisition strategies while building strong relationships with financial institution clients

Qualifications

• Experience in corporate banking or related financial services.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with data-backed decision making.
• Ability to build relationships with financial institution clients and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospects and opportunities for client acquisition in global Correspondent Banking.
• Support onboarding execution, including KYC/AML and client documentation.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Credit, Operations, Treasury, and Product teams to enable onboarding.
