Alberta Theatre Projects is seeking a dynamic Front of House Assistant Manager to support the Front of House Manager in running the venue’s lobby operations during productions. The role involves directing volunteers, coordinating with the Arts Commons bar team, and delivering outstanding patron service to drive revenue through fundraising and merchandise.

The position is part-time, seasonal, based at Arts Commons/Werklund Centre in downtown Calgary, with frequent evening and weekend hours.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of customer service/hospitality experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with volunteers is an asset.
• Passion for Alberta Theatre Projects and the arts.

Aufgaben

• Act as a contact for patron needs, resolving issues and escalating when needed.
• Oversee the front of house team and up to 11 volunteers per show.
• Facilitate safe theatre flow and assist with event setups and teardown.
• Coordinate with box office, bar, and production teams to ensure smooth experiences.
• Document incidents, manage Lost and Found, and support fundraising in the lobby.
