Job summary

Bridgette Bar Canmore is seeking a Front of House Expo to join our team on a part-time or full-time permanent basis. The Expo will work mainly on the line to organize dishes, communicate with kitchen and servers, and ensure accurate, efficient delivery to tables, creating a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred but not required.
• Strong English communication skills with ability to establish and develop relationships with team members, partners, and customers.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Basic math skills, can handle money, and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Valid Alberta ProServe certification obtained within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Working on the line to organize and coordinate dishes, while communicating with the kitchen and servers to ensure food is delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Checking dishes for accuracy, presentation and completeness before they leave the kitchen.
• Running food to the appropriate tables when required.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of the menu and being able to describe dishes to guests.
• Keeping the pass and surrounding areas clean, organized and stocked.
• Supporting servers and other Front of House team members throughout service.
• Assisting with table maintenance and general restaurant upkeep.
• Contributing to a positive, welcoming and efficient guest experience.
• Be ready and willing to provide support as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the FOH Manager.
• Execute any other tasks required.
