Front End Developer: AEM (BBBH10849) Toronto, Canada

Duration:
6 months to start

Must Have:

1. 7 to 10 years of Professional, hands-on frontend development experience
2. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager
3. Proficiency with JavaScript/ES6, HTML, CSS/SCSS, Webpack, XML/JSON
4. Proficiency with Bootstrap or similar frameworks
5. Experience with web accessibility guidelines, accessibility tools, and assistive technologies
6. Proficiency with developer tools and debugging techniques
7. Expertise in developing responsive web design and testing across multiple browsers, devices and platforms
8. Experience building single page applications
9. Keep up to date with trends and changes in the UI space
10. Experience working with teams to analyze and contribute ideas to production discussions, designs and decisions

Preferred:

1. Experience with Design Systems (Storybook.js etc)
2. Experience with web development stacks including AXIOS, react-bootstrap, React.js, React Context, Node.js etc.
3. Experience working in an Agile development environment
4. Experience with Git, Bitbucket, and SourceTree

Responsibilities:

1. As a part of a development team, interface with system designers, business system analysts, application analysts and testing specialists to deliver high quality solutions
2. Participate in the development and take accountability for deliverables
3. Participate in various review processes – i.e. Business Requirements, Test plans, Design reviews etc. to gain understanding of the application and provide input into the deliverables
4. Contribute to projects from initiation through planning, requirements, construction to implementation and post-implementation reviews
5. Suggest improvements to existing code to make a better UI experience for our clients
