Job summary

Kasko Cattle Co. Ltd. is seeking reliable staff for full-time work at our Sandy Hill area near Taber, AB. The role covers cattle processing, movement within the feedlot, pen maintenance, and adherence to safety procedures.

We value teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication. Weekend availability and a Class 5 license are required to support operations and animal care in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is an asset.
• Agriculture or feedlot experience is an asset.
• Class 5 driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Process cattle: induction, re-handling, vaccinations, implants, ear tagging and weight recording.
• Sort cattle for marketing and move them safely within the feedlot.
• Maintain pens, equipment and water bowls.
• Follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
• Communicate daily with feedlot manager, feed truck driver, and occasionally office staff or contractors.
