Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Process purchase transactions accurately and efficiently, including deactivation of merchandise per EAS program.
• Promote Walmart sponsor programs (credit card service, product protection, charity initiatives).
• Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Follow safe work practices and keep a clean work area.
• Maintain register security and cash handling integrity per policies.
• Refer complex service items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educate customers on correct use of self-checkout options.
