We are looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join our team!

Job Description

As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will lead your team to exceed expectations and create lasting positive impressions on each guest. You will serve as a leader, teacher, and role model, ensuring high standards in guest service while achieving departmental financial goals. Your leadership will be evident in training, performance management, and communication processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the front desk, lobby, and guest entrance are well-maintained for optimal first impressions.
  2. Complete assigned tasks timely and with quality, requiring minimal follow-up.
  3. Provide resources, coaching, and feedback to direct reports for their development.
  4. Manage check-ins, check-outs, transactions, and provide information on hotel services and room locations.
  5. Assist staff with payment processing, billing, and handling various payment types.
  6. Maintain knowledge of room types, promotions, rate plans, and amenities.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid AB Driver’s License, Class 4
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract for the past two years
  • At least one year of experience at the front desk or in a full/limited service hotel
  • Knowledge of Lightspeed PMS is an asset
  • Technologically proficient
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

Working Conditions

This role may involve days, afternoons, or evenings, including weekends and occasional night audits. It requires standing for long periods, lifting and bending, and may include driving a shuttle. Some work may be performed independently, with exposure to cold air at the front desk.
