Job summary

Nova Hotels’ Nova Inn Edson is seeking two Part-Time Front Desk Agents to welcome guests, manage check-ins and reservations, and help create memorable stays.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Fluent in English.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Hotel front desk experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with friendly, professional service.
• Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phones and assist with reservations.
• Address guest questions, requests and concerns with care.
• Process payments and balance cash transactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for smooth operations.
• Provide local recommendations and hotel information to guests.
• Help create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere for guests and colleagues.

We are currently looking for two (2) Part-Time Front Desk Agents to join our team at the Nova Inn Edson. If you enjoy connecting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love delivering memorable guest experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

As the first and last impression of the hotel, you'll play an important role in creating a warm and welcoming stay for every guest. Your day may include:

• Welcoming guests with friendly, professional service
• Checking guests in and out efficiently and accurately
• Answering phones and assisting with reservations
• Handling guest questions, requests, and concerns with care and professionalism
• Processing payments and balancing cash transactions
• Communicating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
• Supporting guests with local recommendations and hotel information
• Helping create a positive and team-oriented atmosphere for both guests and associates

No two days are the same in hospitality and that's part of what makes it exciting.

What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, positive, and guest-focused
• Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling
• A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Experienced in hospitality or customer service (hotel experience is considered an asset)

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
