Jerusalem Shawarma is looking for an experienced and motivatedFront Cookto join our fast-paced kitchen team. If you’re passionate about Mediterranean cuisine and can handle the heat on the line, this is the role for you!

Job Title:Front Cook

Type:Full-Time / Part-Time

Locations:Must be available to work at multiple Calgary locations:

  • Aspen (West Springs)
  • Downtown (17 Ave SW)

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in ashawarma-style kitchenis a must.
  • Skilled in Cutting shawarma meat, wrapping sandwiches, grilling/BBQ
  • Skilled in Knife handlingandsafe food preparation
  • Skilled in Using kitchen appliancesto prepare, heat, and finish menu items
  • Ability to work under pressure in afast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to handlerepetitive tasks and moderate weight (lifting meat, supplies, etc.).
  • Speak, read, and writeEnglish.
  • Basicnumeracyfor portioning and measuring ingredients.
  • Followrecipesand presentation standards consistently.
  • Operatestandard kitchen equipmentsafely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to allsanitation, safety, andfood production codes.
